Document translation for your UK application

What the translation must include
For a UK visa, every document that is not in English or Welsh must come with a full translation that includes:
- the translator's confirmation that it is an accurate translation of the original;
- the date of the translation;
- the translator's full name and signature;
- the translator's contact details.
Every translation we deliver includes them on its certification page.

What you need to submit depends on your application. These are the documents we receive most:
- Birth and marriage certificates (registro civil)
- Police certificate (Policía Nacional)
- Diplomas, graduation certificates and transcripts
- Employment certificates and income certificates
- Bank statements and bank references
- Letters of intent and letters of financial responsibility
